English language challenges

 Hello, today I come to talk about my experience learning English at university, as we are about to finish the course, it is important to observe the personal progress during this period.

I personally find it very difficult to learn English, so this experience was a great challenge for me, I paid a lot of attention in class and I even studied at home, I had never done that before.

About the blogs, I didn't know them until a year ago, I think it was a very productive way to practice English.

I have to improve my vocabulary and grammar in English, it's what I've struggled with the most and it's not something minor, it's very important. For that I downloaded a very entertaining application to study English, I'm also trying to read posts in English without using a translator.

Finally, outside of class, I don't use English at all, I listen to it and watch it every day, I listen to music in English, I practice pronunciation and try to decipher what it says, and on Instagram I see many posts that are written in English, sometimes I try to translate what it says and sometimes not.

Ending with this blog, they have been very good and productive classes, where with a lot of effort I was able to learn a little more of the language. I really hope that one day I will be able to understand and use English correctly so that I can have more opportunities to travel to other countries and see new places.

Changes to my study programme

 Hello, today I am here to talk about my study programme.

First of all, I personally think that my study programme is fine, but I would like to go back to some subjects that need to be face-to-face.

On the other hand, so far the workload they give us is fine, it is not too much to not be able to do it, but it is not so light to be able to relax either.

The facilities of the faculty I think are not enough for all the students who are studying, for my career, which is nursery education, some rooms that are intended for us, are prepared for a small number of students, without taking into account that the number of students increases every year.

There are also very few places to eat lunch, or to buy with the junaeb, which is a state benefit to help students with food, but it doesn't help much if there are no places to buy with this scholarship.

The technology used in the classrooms is good, but it is not very friendly to people who don't know how to use it, nor are they in all the classrooms and sometimes the ones that are there fail.

In my degree, the methods they use to teach are quite good, maybe because most of our teachers are educators, they teach us how to teach in a better way, so they go hand in hand with their methodologies.

Time travel to the past

 Hello, today I'm here to talk about a time travel to the past that I would like to do. I'm going to get a bit sentimental. 😅

In this time travel, I would go to the year 2014. This year was the last year I was with my grandmother👵. Exactly one day when I was helping her to clean the house, she put on some music and started dancing, she invited me and I said no. She invited me and I said no. She invited me and I said no. She invited me and I said no. A few weeks later she had a stroke and couldn't talk or walk again. 6 months later, she died. 

I would like to go back to that moment just to dance with her and say "I love you". She was a mother to me, she taught me everything I am and always protected me from everything and everyone.

I wouldn't like to stay there and live it all over again, I would just like to relive this moment so I don't regret it and have that beautiful memory. After that day, everything becomes more complicated and I wouldn't want to go through that again, once was more than enough 😂

Anyway, the last thing I want to tell you is to treasure every moment with your loved ones, even if it seems silly, you never know when you will be with them for the last time. 💜

my dream job

Hi, today I am here to tell you about my dream job.

I am studying early childhood education, I love the career because I believe that early childhood is the basis of every human being, and having a good education in that period is really important. In the future, I would like to be already stable in a kindergarten, with a good working environment, I think it is very important to perform in a good way. I imagine myself making a change in people's mentality about children's education, for that I will need the ability to talk to people so they can understand what I tell them, communication is still very important for me so I have to work on that.

The salary is a bit low for everything we do, I think educators deserve much more because it's not as easy a job as they think it is. We are not nannies, we are educators!

Finally, I think that in every dream job there is something negative. In my case, it is that this job is very undervalued by everyone, both educators and teachers. Our salary is nowhere near that of a doctor or a politician, why? Because it is very undervalued. I just hope that this thinking will change one day and we will be valued as we deserve to be.

The best holidays ever

 Hi, today I'm here to tell you about my best vacation so far. I traveled to Chiloé, in the south of Chile, this very year 2022 in February, we stayed from the 14th to the 28th of the same month, it was a very special trip for me because it was the first time I traveled without my family. We stayed in the center of Castro, in a hostel called "Haga tuto aquí", it was very cozy.

We went with my boyfriend and his parents, we had a great time, we visited many beautiful places, we took pictures and got to know their myths and legends, we went to visit the witches village one of the nights and it started to rain, the next day we woke up with a cold hahaha!

It was the best vacation so far as I had never traveled to the south of Chile, it was my first time and I found all the places very beautiful and with lots of vegetation.

I would love to go back again and visit the places we couldn't go, it was a really unique experience for me.

A country you would like to visit

 Hi, I'm Dayane and I'm here to tell you about a country I would like to go to. 

Greece, I think it is a country with many beautiful places that I would like to visit, it has a gastronomy that seems very appealing too.

I also find their beliefs very interesting, that's what I have seen and researched the most, about the gods, what they did and their mythology.

What I would like to do in that country is to visit the great monuments they have like for example the Acropolis of Athens, Delos or the Temple of Poseidon, in pictures they look very beautiful and I imagine how incredible they must be in person.

I would just like to visit and explore, learn and go as a tourist for a few weeks. I like my country and the truth is that I couldn't live there because all my family is here and I couldn't be separated from them.
